Medical Terminology Course Accreditation
Corexcel's online Medical Terminology course is accredited for CEUs and college credits but students must follow the process below for college credit. Corexcel has partnered with ITCAP and a regionally accredited community college to award college credit for completion of Corexcel's online Medical Terminology course.
Corexcel provides the online course while ITCAP handles the student registration and exam process. This course has been approved for three credits. Once the ITCAP approved course and exam are successfully completed, the college issues an official transcript.
ITCAP is a nationally recognized program that serves the needs of employers and employees, while satisfying rigorous academic standards. Through this program, college credit can be earned by students who complete appropriate coursework and exams. These credits can apply to degrees or professional recertification requirements. College Credit Transferability

Upon successful completion of our online Medical Terminology course participants will receive a certificate with 9.5 CEUs unless they choose to pay the additional fee for college credits. Corexcel is authorized by IACET to offer 9.5 CEUs for this program. If you choose the college credit option (additional fee applies) you will earn 3.0 college credits when you complete this course.
Corexcel is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. In obtaining this approval, Corexcel has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard which is widely recognized as the Standard of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider membership status, Corexcel is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard.
