Yes you can. For most of our clients we set up a page to place on your intranet. This page will link to our catalog while maintaining the look and feel of your site. We can also include a web-based monitoring system to report which students have completed their courses. The administrative area can be customized to collect any necessary employee data (i.e. cost center, employee #, billing code). Setting up these partnerships involves several customizable options to meet your budget. We would be pleased to provide a quote for this process. We understand that a lot of people are apprehensive about distributing their credit card number online. You can pay for courses using a money order, personal check or credit card by mail order.

For course numbers that begin with the letters "CX" you can access the course prior to paying for it and download a copy of the course handout. The downloaded document will have information on completing the course, submitting your paperwork and mailing payment to receive your certificate. Typically, certificates are sent on the following business day after we receive the paperwork. It can take weeks to receive your certificate from other web sites.

You can also request to have a course handout mailed or e-mailed to you by contacting our offices by phone at 888.658.6641 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday or via our contact form.

You can order most of the courses by mail but most of them are available for download so you can print them and mail the payment in. If you want to download a course just go into the course from the course catalog and go to the download link. If you have to order it to be mailed because you don't have a printer or some other reason please call 888.658.6641 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday.

The number of hours depends on the course. Our course catalog currently contains courses ranging from 1 contact hour to 10+ contact hours.

One Contact Hour is equal to 60 minutes of learning time. One CEU is worth 10 hours of learning time. However, most health professionals confuse the two and say they need CEUs when they actually need Contact Hours. We list the term CEUs where we say Contact Hours because of this problem. We've found that listing them as Contact Hours without a reference to CEUs will cause many people to leave before understanding the difference. We apologize for the confusion. Our nursing continuing education courses offer Contact Hours. If you actually need CEUs please contact us at 888-658-6641 or via our contact form and we will issue a certificate for CEUs. Please remember, a course that carries 3.0 ANCC Contact Hours is worth 0.3 CEUs.

Corexcel will keep your records for at least 7 years after you complete a course. You can retrieve these records at anytime by logging into the system and viewing your transcript. Read the question on obtaining a duplicate certificate for the process of accessing records.

You can obtain a duplicate certificate in one of two ways. The least expensive, most efficient method of obtaining a new certificate is by going to https://www.corexcel.com/online-courses.html and clicking "Login" on the left side of the page. Enter your username and password and click the submit button. You should see a welcome screen with your name displayed.

Note: If you receive an "Access Denied" error read the question about fixing this issue.

After the welcome screen displays click the "Your Records" link on the left side of the page. Links to common tasks (i.e. Viewing Your Transcript) should appear.. Click "View Your Transcript" and your transcript you appear listing your course completions. Scroll to the bottom and you will see links to all of your certificates. Click on the certificate link you want and it should display for you to print. You may also request a duplicate certificate by calling our offices at 1-888-658-6641inside the U.S. or 1-302-477-9730 outside of the U.S. from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday. There is a $15 retrieval, shipping and handling fee for ordering duplicate certificates to be sent via U.S. mail.

Courses carry a certain number of Contact Hours because that's how approximately many hours it should take you to complete a course. The ANCC designates a Contact Hour as "Sixty minutes of an organized learning activity, which is either a didactic or clinical experience." Therefore a one Contact Hour course should take you approximately 60 minutes to complete. For some it may be more and for some it may be less. It depends on how fast you read and how familiar you are with the material.
