Printable Pharmacology Concept & Terminology Overview
This course is designed to give an overview of pharmacology, including how drugs are named, their classifications, routes of administration and mechanism of action. Course content and discussions will focus on giving participants a broad understanding of the discipline and the most frequently used terminology.
Employees who work cross-functionally with pharmacology concepts and terminology and want an overview of the terminology used in pharmacology and drug development. This course is not designed for physicians, pharmacists or nurses.
Introduction to Pharmacology: Concepts and Terminology is taught in four sessions, each lasting four hours. Discussion in each of the major drug therapy classes will include an overview of relevant anatomy and physiology.
