New Course Requirement for Florida Nurses: Prevention of Medical Errors
Wilmington, DE — The Florida Board of Nursing requires all nursing professionals seeking licensure in Florida by endorsement from another state to complete a two-hour course on prevention of medical errors. Corexcel is an approved provider of continuing education for the Florida Board of Nursing. Their online course, Preventing Medication Errors, satisfies the new course requirement.
Upon completion of the Preventing Medication Errors course, you will be able to print a certificate that is accredited for 6.1 contact hours. You will be responsible for providing this to the Florida Department of Health as part of your initial licensure application package.
