Anatomy & Physiology Course Objectives
At the conclusion of Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology participants will be able to:
- Define the anatomic terms used to refer to the body in terms of directions and geometric planes.
- Describe the major cavities of the body and the organs they contain.
- Recognize terms related to the human body’s anatomy.
- Match anatomical terms with the appropriate physiology.
- Illustrate the anatomical location of the components of a cell and explain their function.
- Identify the major constituents in the blood and lymph systems and differentiate roles played by each.
- Identify the anatomical structures in the digestive system and relate them to the aspects of digestion.
Students who enroll in our Online Anatomy and Physiology class will have access for one full year. Completion times vary depending on connection speed, how fast the student reads and if they choose to do every exercise and every game. Students receive a certificate with CEUs when passing both the mid term and final examination with a 70% or better and completing a short course evaluation.
Course Credit & Completion Time
Upon successful completion of the Online Anatomy and Physiology course students will receive a certificate of completion for 9.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Corexcel is an authorized CEU sponsor of the International Association of Continuing Education and Training. Most schools will convert the CEUs into college credits. If you would like to convert the CEUs contact your school and ask them if a course accredited for CEUs by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training can be translated into credit hours at that institution. They will often ask for objectives and accreditation information which you can download by clicking here.
